NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL)
NTPL was established to implement a 2x500 MW coal-based thermal power project in Tuticorin, Tamil Nadu. Both units became commercially operational in 2015. NTPL supplies power to multiple states including Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Kerala, Andhra Pradesh, and Puducherry. It has signed fuel supply agreements with Mahanadi Coalfields and Eastern Coalfields. NTPL plays a key role in strengthening the southern region’s power infrastructure and is committed to sustainable and efficient energy generation.
